Is it October or December?

It was a busy weekend here and it involved alot of outside work - so if it's October 11 why was I wearing insulates under my jeans, a long sleeve shirt, hooded carhart sweatshirt and winter coat w/gloves and 2 pair of socks and my "work partner" was in his bib's w/2 sweatshirts? Although the sun came out on Saturday, which made it much more comfortable, it was overcast and abit breezy all day today. We did get all the mowing at the farm done, cut alot of smaller trees (well, they looked that way but were pretty heavy when it came to dragging them to the "tree pile"!), loaded, moved and then unloaded "pen flooring" that had been in the old farrowing house (which daughters remember helping to install those ridiculously heavy things ;( -- well, you get the picture. All in all though, it was a good weekend! Saturday night we enjoyed an 80th birthday celebration for Lois Meyer, my very dear friend Diana's mother, at the KC Hall. Lois' family hosted a "Bring Vegas to Mom" party and it was fun catching up with friends, visiting with some of Andy's (Meyer) family and dad won alot of hands playing blackjack w/his $500 start up cash!!! We turned our chips in for raffle tix's and only came home w/a t-shirt the McGraw's gave us b/c it wouldn't fit anyone at their house!! (That's okay, we didn't want any of that IU stuff anyway- haha!) Well, there was a Colts coat I had hopes of winning for it would have been Eric's Christmas present - sorry Eric!
