September in Indiana

It's beginning to look like fall in Indiana, crops are changing color, garden produce is slowing down production and football season has begun. We met up with Kelly, Kaylynn & Garrett today to tailgate with some of their Marion friends and cheered the Boilers to a victory- YEA..Boiler Up!! It was in mid 80's so was abit warm as was a noon start, but that nice breeze made it a great day for a game :) Dad is off to a pig sale, as that's another thing September brings around here. We celebrated mom's 79th birthday w/her and Lori with dinner at the Whistle Stop last week. Little Cousin Jasper is Saturday and I will be working at our sorority stand 9-11 & 1-3; there is also a huge Flea/Antique Market show at fairgrounds with several hundred vendors, entertainment etc Friday/Saturday/Sunday so you know where we will also be spending some of our time. We are counting the days until Olivia Grace, Stephanie and Andy arrive in Indiana...what a great few days that will be!!!! We become "chauffering" grandparents the weekend of the Purdue/ND game for the Scher's are joining friends for a day of tailgaiting and the night game at Purdue. Garrett has soccer in Marion in morning and Kaylynn has soccer in Carmel in afternoon...I think we'lll have pizza for supper and watch the game at our house in the evening after a day like that! We miss you Meyer family and cannot wait to see all of you. The way Jordan is getting teeth she'll have a mouthful by the next visit! Hugs to everyone and keep those grandchildren's web pages loaded up with photo's for we peak in on them every day ()
