It's Quiet Here!

What a great time we had with Kelly, Eric, Kaylynn, Garrett, Cathy, Andy, Eli, Drew, Jordan, Stephanie and Olivia here for several days....the o'le house seems quiet now and not nearly as much fun is happening around here; we've returned vehicles & campers, done mowing and more mowing, laundry, laundry and more laundry, returned baby items borrowed, taken baby and kid items back upstairs, eaten left overs (is food prepared during fair last week really okay for supper 7 or 8 days later?) and talked of the joy of grandchildren (and children too!) We had abit of much needed rain today and lucky for us the hail they had in town didn't get out this way. We're going to a "get back w/ your fair friends" pudgy pie party Saturday night - the fun never stops huh! Next week brings a church meeting, a 4-H council fair project wrap-up meeting, an auction review meeting, dinner w/old friends (Diana, Sharon & I!!) and a sorority dinner meeting...gee, guess the week is pretty much planned out huh. We're anxious to hear about the Allen's accomodations in Alabama - and don't forget we want/need picture updates!!! I'll be sure to say a special prayer for the Meyer clan as Cathy tries her hand back at the hospital for two days next week...hope their babysitter has reinforcements! It will soon be time to head to the Indiana State Fair and, can you believe it, watch Kaylynn showing in 4-H!!!! WOW...that's all I'm gonna say :)
